Biography

After playing in various bands in Gothenburg for ten years, I embarked on my solo journey in 2021. as a singer/songwriter and recording artist. After completing the material I wanted to record, several studio sessions followed and the final result became ”Along the Road to Nowhere”, a five-song EP released on the 19th of August 2022. The songs are of a very personal nature, and reflect my own experiences and reflections upon my life, especially with the pandemic and the effects it had on me.

I believe in that playing live is an important part of the writing process. During the writing period of ”Along the Road to Nowhere”, I performed a couple of the songs to be recorded at a singer/songwriter event in Copenhagen, Denmark, known as the Copenhagen Listening Room. Not only was that my first live performance as a solo artist, it also was the perfect opportunity for me to perform some of the songs before recording them to get a good idea about their ”stage feel”. This helped me a lot while writing as well as during the recording sessions, and it definitely had an impact on how the songs on ”Along the Road to Nowhere” turned out to be.

During the autumn of 2022, I attended several open mic events in London and Oslo to perform original songs both from my first EP as well as new unreleased songs (see concerts page for exact dates and places). In May of 2023, I released a new single ”Stand Still”, a darker and heavier track that takes his songwriting to another dimension. On November 17 2023, I expanded on the latter by releasing ”Break!”, a heavy nu/alternative metal influenced track.

During 2024, I, along with a fellow musician, busked in several European cities (Oslo, Eindhoven, Amsterdam). During the year, I also went into the studio again and recorded several new songs. The first of those, was released on September 13th 2024. An even heavier track, which I wrote as a tribute to the Saw movie franchise, which I am fan of.
